Ph.D. Research(2001-2002) Egypt.
After I awarded the
B.Sc. degree I registered for PhD in my university Egypt. I started
working on magnetoresistance materials. When I awarded a PhD grant from
Pisa University I left the work on
magnetoresistance
materials and I travelled to Italy.

Ph.D. Research (2003-2005) Italy
During my Ph.D. years study, I was working on two main topics;
Þ
The
realization of Silicon mono-crystalline fibers to improve the low
thermal noise suspension at room and low temperatures for gravitational
wave detectors (VIRGO
interferometer).
Þ
Development of new materials for laser, photonic, non- linear and
scintillation applications.
More details in my
Ph.D. thesis and the list of my
publications.

Current Research (2006-Today)
Since 2006, I
awarded a fellowship from the National Institute for Nuclear Physics
(INFN)
Pisa section as a post-doctor.
My current research
work are mostly on the research and development of new single crystals for
optical and scintillation applications.
